Allison Howard is a homeschooling mother of five with a passion for classical education and a penchant for setting any spelling rule to the tune of a Christmas carol. She holds a Civil Engineering degree from the University of Notre Dame, where she competed in Cross Country, Track & Field, and as a coxswain on the Rowing team, in addition to serving as the student government Club Coordinator. Most importantly, it’s where she met her husband of 18 years. After pursuing a career that began in Environmental Engineering with the Department of Defense and eventually found her in Tech Sales in the Bay Area, Allison is now realizing her lifelong dream to teach math and coach youth runners. She is stunned by the abundance of both natural beauty and Catholic community here in Coeur d’Alene and considers her family’s journey here to be an answer to prayer and nothing short of pure gift.
