Coeur du Christ Academy Embarks on Fundraising Campaign for their Building Expansion Amidst Planning Phase with the City of Coeur d'Alene

Coeur d'Alene, ID — November 20, 2023 — Coeur du Christ Academy, a classical Academy in the Catholic tradition, is pleased to announce its significant expansion proposal. The Academy, founded in 2022, serves high school students in the area and fulfills a crucial need within the community for a private classical school with a focus on Catholic principles. With the recent buildout proposal, in collaboration with the City of Coeur d’Alene, and having engaged an architect and general contractor, the Academy is set to undergo a transformative expansion of its existing facility that will enable it to accommodate up to 150 students.

With the groundbreaking planned for Spring 2025, the Academy is actively seeking donations and funding to cover the costs of the expansion. Support from the community is vital for the success of this endeavor, as the Academy's tuition scale is set intentionally low to ensure accessibility for families seeking quality, classical education in the Catholic tradition. Local residents and organizations will similarly benefit from the expansion as Lumen Hall, which is part of the existing structure, will increase its space for hosting cultural speaking and performing arts events, something the local community has long been seeking.
